Kenwood KR-6340
Stereo Amplifier Receiver (1973-74)
Description
The Kenwood KR-6340 can function as a two or four channel receiver, having a built in regular matrix and SQ type decoders.
As a four channel receiver the amplification channels work separately, each driving one of four speakers.
The semi-complementary directly coupled power amplifiers have wideband and low distortion characteristics which ensure smooth, high-fidelity amplification.
Two pairs of speaker terminals are available to permit simultaneous listening at two different places.
A double switching demodulator is used in the MPX section to prevent carrier leaks and ensure the best sound quality.
